Eaglehawk Primary School is proud to be one of the two schools that has been part of the Pathways program since its inception in 2012.

Passions and Pathways is a partnership between a select group of primary schools and local businesses and industries. Students visit a range of local businesses and industries. The program aims to open the students’ eyes to the endless job and career possibilities that exist and to support young people to connect the dots between school and real life.

Outcomes include:

• Raising student aspirations to value learning, training and employment
• Understanding education as an essential element in life
• Authentic experiences in local workplaces to develop future pathways
• Developing students’ understanding of the world of work
• Connecting the dots between school and real life
• Building relationships and connections between employers and their future employees
